2008 Annual National Conference

The national conference was held in Brisbane over the Australia Day long weekend. This year's conference was one of the biggest to date. We were lucky enough to have to Pendekar visit from Indonesia this year, Pak Nanang Soemindarto, and Pak Noer Hasdijanto. An interview with Pak Noer will be featured in the upcoming edition of Blitz Magazine.

As usual a senior level grading was held, however what was not usual was that three members acheived the level of Blue Red stripe (tingkat Biru-Merah). Congratulations to Mas Cameron Daly, Mas Gary Slater and Mas Blake Brierty on reaching Blue-Red stripe. This is the highest level ever achieved in an Australian grading.

A total of 28 people graded over the weekend, with an amazing 100% pass rate, making this the largest ever senior level grading we have had so far!!! Congratulations to all of the following people who graded:
